Back From The Beach

Hi Everybody, Sorry it has been so long since our last blog, but we were in California for a week so Shaela could meet her cousins. We all had a great time. And here are the best picts since our last posting.

Shaela LOVES our drums. Playing with this one
from Mom & Larry is a morning favorite.

Strolling through the wild flowers from all the rains.

Yeye (chinese for Grandfather) gives Shaela a bottle.

Shaela's first time to the beach.
She was a little unsure of the water.

Biscotto (Nona's newest puppy) makes Shaela giggle.

Shaela's second day at the beach.
Now she is looking like a California girl.

Shaela's first Carousel ride.
She enjoyed it but wanted the horses to go faster.

KellyAnn & Stephanie drove up from SanDiego to meet Shaela.

Shaela and her cousins jammin on the piano.

By the third day at the beach she was a pro. No fear of the waves and wanting more. Not too crazy about the sand, yet.

Family stroll at the beach.

A buried, James & Benjamin.

All the cousins on the couch. Sophia (3) Benjamin (almost 5) Patrick (2 months) and Shaela (14 months.)

Playing footsies with Uncle Doug

Blessings, Bedhead, & New Experiences

The Angels Sing a Chorus About the New Crib!

The first night in her new crib, Shaela slept for 12 hours with out waking up and crying. (Not even once!!) Hallelujah!! Since then she has been sleeping very good, sleeping 8 to 10 hours and last night was 11 hours, with only a couple little "wake-up, cry out and go right back to sleep."

Our Little Monchichi get the craziest bedhead.
The only downside of the new crib is that she doesn't get this amazing bedhead any more. We think that she was just getting way to hot in the manger-esque soft bed and then waking up so we could pick her up for a brief cool down. She even stained the sheets where her head was sweating so much.

She can't walk on her own yet, but that doesn't stop her from trying the hardest obsticles that she can find, like this rock on a steep slope outside our back porch on the new house. She gets very excited when she does something new and difficult.

Another family photo while walking around the new house.

Shaela sees her first juggler. Very entertaining.

Shaela's first out door concert on the Plaza.
